We are Little Lights shining for Christ

The mission of Barker Road Methodist Church (BRMC) is to be a community that knows, loves, worships and follows Christ who called us out of darkness into light. Established in 1967, BRMC Little Lights Preschool has been and continues to be an integral part of that mission.
Our aim is for every child who passes through our school to develop a Christian worldview.
To that end, we offer a Christ-centred curriculum, with daily prayers, devotionals, bible stories and songs of worship forming a significant portion of our children’s school timetables. BRMC Little Lights Preschool is closely affiliated to BRMC as well as the wider Methodist community in Singapore.
In joining BRMC Little Lights Preschool, children will become part of this
community, forming lifelong friendships and social networks they will carry with them into adolescence and adulthood – a constellation of little lights shining for Christ.
Our Curriculum
We embrace multiple approaches to learning
BRMC Little Lights Preschool's curriculum is guided by the Inquiry-Based Learning approach and the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), and is anchored in the guiding principles of the Ministry of Education’s Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) Framework and the Early Childhood Development Agency’s Early Years Development Framework (EYDF).
Together, these frameworks provide a strong foundation for holistic development—supporting each child’s growth morally, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
